Arrival: Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha
Meet your driver at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to Arusha for your overnight stay. Take time to rest after your flight and prepare for the early safari departure. Most hotels have a maximum checkout time of around 10:00 am. Meal arrangements depend on your arrival plan.
Day 1: Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater to Ndutu for Night stay
You will be picked up early, around 5:00–5:50 AM, and drive approximately four hours to Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the crater for a 5–6-hour game drive with packed lunch. Look for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, and other wildlife. Around 2:00–3:00 PM, drive toward Ndutu for dinner and overnight stay. If you arrive early enough, enjoy an evening game drive before reaching accommodation around 6:00 PM. Meals: Lunch and Dinner.
Day 2: Ndutu Full-Day Calving Season Game Drive
After breakfast at your accommodation, set out for a full day exploring the Ndutu Area with a packed lunch. During the calving season, watch for wildebeest, zebra, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and other wildlife drawn to the plains. Keep your camera ready for newborn calves and predator activity. Around 5:30–6:00 PM, return to your Ndutu accommodation for dinner and overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 3: Ndutu Game Drive and Return to Arusha
Enjoy an early breakfast before beginning another Ndutu game drive with packed lunch. Search for wildebeest, newborn calves, zebra, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other wildlife while enjoying the morning light across the plains. Around noon, begin driving toward the Ngorongoro Gate before continuing to Arusha. Meals: Breakfast and Lunch.
Departure: Arusha to Kilimanjaro Airport
After your safari, transfer from Arusha Town to Kilimanjaro International Airport according to your flight schedule. Most hotels have a maximum checkout time of around 10:00 AM.
