Arrival Day: Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and meet your transfer driver for the journey to Arusha. Settle into your accommodation, relax after your flight, and prepare for the safari ahead. Additional accommodation can be arranged if you arrive before the scheduled starting day.
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your pickup is planned for around 7:00–8:00 am, with the exact time confirmed before departure. The drive from Arusha to Tarangire takes approximately 2 hours over 109 km. Enjoy game viewing for elephants, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and other wildlife. In the late afternoon, drive toward Mto wa Mbu or Karatu for dinner and overnight accommodation. Meals: Lunch and Dinner.
Day 2: Mto wa Mbu/Karatu to Ndutu Area
After breakfast, depart around 7:00–8:00 am toward Ndutu, with the journey taking approximately 3 to 3½ hours. Enter the calving-season landscape and look for wildebeest, zebra, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other predators. Around 5:30–6:00 pm, drive to your Ndutu accommodation for dinner and overnight. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 3: Ndutu Game Drive to Ngorongoro Rim or Karatu
Enjoy an early breakfast before starting your Ndutu game drive at around 6:20 am with packed lunch. This is an excellent time to search for wildebeest, newborn calves, zebra, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other wildlife associated with the calving season. Around 2:00–3:00 pm, begin driving toward the Ngorongoro Rim or Karatu for dinner and overnight. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive to Arusha
After breakfast, descend into Ngorongoro Crater for approximately 5–6 hours of game viewing with packed lunch. Watch for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, gazelles, and other crater wildlife. After the game drive, return to Arusha, a journey of approximately 4 hours, arriving around 5:30–6:30 pm. Meals: Breakfast and Lunch.
Departure Day: Arusha to Kilimanjaro Airport
After your safari, transfer from Arusha to Kilimanjaro International Airport according to your flight schedule. Most hotels have a maximum checkout time around 10:00 am. If you need additional activities, including Kilimanjaro climbing or a Zanzibar holiday, arrangements can be made.
