Day 1: 4 Days Tarangire, Ndutu Calving, and Ngorongoro Safari – Arusha to Tarangire
Your pickup will be around 7:00 am to 8:00 am, with the exact time confirmed beforehand. The drive from Arusha to Tarangire takes approximately 2 hours, covering about 109 km. Enjoy a game drive looking for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, lions, and other wildlife. In the late afternoon, drive toward Mto wa Mbu or Karatu for dinner and overnight stay. Meal plan: Lunch and Dinner.
Day 2: 4 Days Tarangire, Ndutu Calving, and Ngorongoro Safari – Mto wa Mbu/Karatu to Ndutu
Leave around 7:00 am to 8:00 am for the Ndutu Area, with the journey taking approximately 3 to 3½ hours. During the calving season, watch for wildebeest, zebra, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other predators attracted by abundant young animals. Around 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm, drive to your Ndutu accommodation for dinner and overnight stay. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 3: 4 Days Tarangire, Ndutu Calving, and Ngorongoro Safari – Ndutu Game Drive
Enjoy an early breakfast before starting your game drive at approximately 6:20 am, carrying a packed lunch for the day. Search the Ndutu plains for wildebeest and their calves, zebras, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other wildlife during this productive calving period. Around 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, begin driving toward the Ngorongoro Rim or Karatu for dinner and overnight stay. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 4: 4 Days Tarangire, Ndutu Calving, and Ngorongoro Safari – Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, descend into Ngorongoro Crater for approximately 5–6 hours of game viewing with a packed lunch. Look for lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, and other wildlife across the crater floor. After the game drive, begin the journey back to Arusha, taking approximately 4 hours. You should reach your Arusha hotel around 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Meal plan: Breakfast and Lunch.
