Arrival Day: Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and meet your transfer for the journey to Arusha. Settle into your accommodation, relax after your flight, prepare for the safari, and receive important trip information. Additional hotel arrangements can be organized before the safari begins.
Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti
Leave Arusha around 6:00–7:00 am and travel toward Serengeti National Park. After reaching the park, complete entry formalities and begin your game drive. Central Serengeti offers chances to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and many birds. Around 5:45–6:00 pm, drive to your Central Serengeti accommodation for dinner and overnight stay. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 2: Serengeti to Ndutu
Enjoy breakfast at your accommodation before starting morning and afternoon game drives. Continue toward the Serengeti exit point, complete park check-out, and proceed toward Ndutu. If time allows, enjoy a late-evening game drive in the area. During calving season, watch for wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other wildlife before dinner and overnight stay. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 3: Full Day Ndutu
After breakfast, set out with a packed lunch for a full-day Ndutu game drive. This is an excellent time to observe wildebeest calving activity, newborn calves, zebras, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other predators that follow the herds. Take time to enjoy the landscape and wildlife before driving back around 5:30–6:00 pm for dinner and overnight stay. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 4: Ndutu to Ngorongoro
Have an early breakfast before starting your game drive at approximately 6:20 am with a packed lunch. Continue searching for wildebeest, young calves, zebras, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other wildlife during the calving season. In the early afternoon, leave Ndutu and drive toward the Ngorongoro Rim or Karatu for dinner and overnight accommodation. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After breakfast, descend into Ngorongoro Crater for approximately 5–6 hours of game viewing with packed lunch. Look for lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, hyenas, and other wildlife. After the crater drive, return to Arusha, approximately four hours away, arriving around 5:30–6:30 pm. Meal plan: Breakfast and Lunch.
Departure Day: Arusha to Kilimanjaro Airport
After your safari, transfer from Arusha to Kilimanjaro International Airport according to your flight schedule. Most hotels have a maximum check-out time of around 10:00 am. If you want to continue with Kilimanjaro climbing, Zanzibar, or another Tanzania activity, arrangements can be made for you.
