Arrival Day: Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha
Your adventure begins with pickup from Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to Arusha for your overnight stay. Settle in, rest after your journey, and prepare for the exciting wildlife safari ahead. Additional accommodation can be arranged according to your arrival and departure schedule.
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Pickup is around 7:00–8:00 am, with the exact time confirmed before departure. The drive to Tarangire takes approximately 2 hours (109 km). Enjoy game viewing for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, antelopes, and other wildlife among famous baobab trees. Late afternoon, drive to Mto wa Mbu or Karatu for dinner and overnight stay. Meals: Lunch and Dinner.
Day 2: Mto wa Mbu/Karatu to Ndutu Area
Leave around 7:00–8:00 am for the Ndutu Area, with the journey taking approximately 3 to 3.5 hours. During the calving season, look for wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, predators, and newborn animals across the open plains. Around 5:30–6:00 pm, drive to your Ndutu accommodation for dinner and overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 3: Ndutu Area Full-Day Game Drive
After breakfast, begin a full-day game drive with a packed lunch, giving you more time to search the Ndutu plains for calving-season wildlife. Watch wildebeest, zebra, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other predators where conditions allow. Around 5:30–6:00 pm, return to your Ndutu accommodation for dinner and overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 4: Ndutu Game Drive to Ngorongoro Rim or Karatu
Enjoy an early breakfast before starting your game drive around 6:20 am with packed lunch. Continue searching Ndutu for wildebeest, zebra, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and newborn animals during the calving season. Around 2:00–3:00 pm, leave Ndutu and drive toward the Ngorongoro Rim or Karatu for dinner and overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive to Arusha
After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for approximately 5–6 hours of game viewing with a packed lunch. Look for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, flamingos, and other wildlife. After the crater drive, return to Arusha, taking approximately 4 hours, arriving around 5:30–6:30 pm at your hotel. Meals: Breakfast and Lunch.
Departure Day: Arusha to Kilimanjaro Airport
After your safari, transfer from Arusha to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home. Most hotels have a maximum checkout time of around 10:00 am. If you need additional activities, including Kilimanjaro climbing or Zanzibar travel, these can be arranged according to your schedule.
