Arrival Day: Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha
Your private transfer collects you from Kilimanjaro International Airport and drives you to Arusha for your overnight stay. Use the evening to relax, prepare for the safari, meet your safari team, and confirm the next morning’s pickup arrangements before your wildlife adventure begins.
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire
Pickup is around 7:00–8:00 am, with the exact time confirmed beforehand. The drive to Tarangire takes approximately 2 hours (109 km). Enjoy a game drive for elephants, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and possible predators. Late afternoon, drive toward Mto wa Mbu or Karatu for dinner and overnight. Meals: Lunch and Dinner.
Day 2: Mto wa Mbu/Karatu to Serengeti
Pickup is around 9:00–9:30 am. After entering the Serengeti, continue toward Central Serengeti for wildlife viewing. Your park checkout will be completed the following day before leaving Serengeti. Look for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeest. Around 5:45–6:00 pm, drive to your Central Serengeti accommodation. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 3: Serengeti to Ndutu
After breakfast, begin morning and afternoon game drives through Central Serengeti before driving toward the park exit for checkout. Continue to Ndutu for a late-evening game drive if time allows. During calving season, watch wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other predators before dinner and overnight. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 4: Full-Day Ndutu Game Drive
Enjoy breakfast at your accommodation, then set out with a packed lunch for a full-day Ndutu game drive. The calving season can bring large wildebeest concentrations, newborn calves, zebras, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and other wildlife. Around 5:30–6:00 pm, return to your Ndutu accommodation for dinner and overnight. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 5: Ndutu to Ngorongoro/Karatu
Have an early breakfast and begin your game drive at approximately 6:20 am, carrying packed lunch for the day. Search Ndutu’s open plains for wildebeest, newborn calves, zebras, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other predators. In the early afternoon, leave Ndutu and drive toward the Ngorongoro Rim or Karatu for dinner and overnight. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After breakfast, descend into Ngorongoro Crater for approximately 5–6 hours of game viewing with packed lunch. Expect buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, elephants, hyenas, lions, and other wildlife. After the crater drive, return to Arusha, taking approximately 4 hours, arriving around 5:30–6:30 pm at your hotel. Meals: Breakfast and Lunch.
Departure Day: Arusha to Kilimanjaro Airport
Transfer from Arusha to Kilimanjaro Airport according to your flight schedule. Most hotels have a maximum checkout time around 10:00 am. If you need extra activities, Kilimanjaro climbing, cultural experiences, or a Zanzibar extension, arrangements can be made to complete your Tanzania trip.
