Arrival Day
Your private transfer will collect you from Kilimanjaro International Airport and drive you to Arusha for your overnight stay. Settle in, relax after your flight, and prepare for the early safari departure. Additional Arusha accommodation can be arranged according to your arrival time and family needs.
Day 1: Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater to Ndutu For Night Stay
You will be picked up early, around 5:00 AM–5:50 AM, for approximately four hours of driving to Ngorongoro. Descend into the crater for a 5–6-hour game drive with packed lunch. Look for lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, rhinos, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, flamingos, and many antelope species. Around 2:00–3:00 PM, drive toward Ndutu for dinner and overnight stay. If you arrive early, an evening game drive may be possible before reaching your accommodation around 6:00 PM. Meals: Lunch and Dinner.
Day 2: Ndutu Full Day
After breakfast at your accommodation, begin a full-day Ndutu game drive with packed lunch. During calving season, search for newborn wildebeest, mothers with calves, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, zebras, gazelles, and other plains wildlife. Your guide follows suitable tracks while respecting park rules. Around 5:30–6:00 PM, return to your Ndutu accommodation for dinner and overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 3: Ndutu to Arusha
After an early breakfast, head out for a final Ndutu game drive with packed lunch. Continue looking for wildebeest, calves, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, gazelles, and other wildlife while enjoying the changing morning light. Around noon, begin driving toward the Ngorongoro Gate and continue onward to Arusha. Meals: Breakfast and Lunch.
Departure Day
After breakfast in Arusha, arrange your transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport. Most hotels have a maximum checkout time around 10:00 AM, so plan accordingly. If you need Kilimanjaro climbing, Zanzibar, or another Tanzania activity, these can be arranged as part of your wider travel plans.
