Arrival Day: Airport Pickup to Arusha
Meet your driver at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to Arusha for your overnight stay. Take time to rest, prepare for the safari, and receive a briefing about the journey ahead. Arrive at least one day before the safari begins for a smooth start.
Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park
Your safari begins with pickup around 6:00–7:00 am from Arusha. After traveling toward Serengeti, you will check into the park and begin game viewing. Central Serengeti may reveal lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and antelope. Around 5:45–6:00 pm, drive to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay. Day 2: Serengeti Game Drive to Ndutu Area
After breakfast, begin a morning game drive through Serengeti before continuing with afternoon wildlife viewing. Later, drive toward the Serengeti exit point, complete park checkout, and continue to Ndutu. If time allows, enjoy a late-evening game drive before heading to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay. During calving season, watch for wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other predators. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 3: Ndutu Area Full-Day Game Drive
Have breakfast at your accommodation, then set out for a full-day Ndutu game drive with packed lunch. During the calving season, the area can offer exceptional wildlife scenes involving wildebeest calves, zebras, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other predators. Around 5:30–6:00 pm, return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 4: Ndutu Game Drive to Ngorongoro Rim or Karatu
Enjoy an early breakfast and begin your game drive around 6:20 am with packed lunch. Continue searching Ndutu’s wildlife-rich plains, where wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other wildlife may be seen during calving season. In the early afternoon, leave Ndutu and drive toward the Ngorongoro Rim or Karatu for dinner and overnight stay. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive to Arusha
After breakfast, descend into Ngorongoro Crater for approximately 5–6 hours of game viewing with packed lunch. Look for lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, flamingos, and other crater wildlife. After the game drive, start your approximately four-hour journey to Arusha, arriving around 5:30–6:30 pm at your hotel. Meal Plan: Breakfast and Lunch.
Departure Day: Arusha to Kilimanjaro Airport
Your safari ends with a transfer from Arusha to Kilimanjaro Airport according to your flight schedule. Most hotels have a maximum checkout time around 10:00 am. If you need extra activities, Kilimanjaro climbing or a Zanzibar trip, these can also be arranged.
