Day 6: Mweka Camp to Machame Gate to Moshi to Arusha
Mweka Camp to Machame Gate to Moshi Town to Arusha – Descend: 3,090m / 10,150ft to 1,680m / 5,500ft | Stretch: 10 km | Hiking time: 3–4 hours | Climatic habitat: Rain Forest. After reaching Machame Gate, you return to Moshi. After arrival in Moshi, you will be transferred to Arusha for the night before the safari. Meal plan: Breakfast and Lunch.
Day 7: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Arusha to Tarangire National Park normally begins with pickup around 7:00 am–8:00 am, with the exact time confirmed before departure. The drive takes approximately 2 hours (109 km). Game drives may include elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo and other wildlife. Late afternoon, continue to Mto wa Mbu or Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.
