Day 2: Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut
Rising: 9,000 ft / 2,700 m to 12,100 ft / 3,700 m | Stretch: 11 km | Hike time: 6–8 hours | Climatic habitat: Heathland/Moorland. Continue toward Horombo Hut through changing mountain vegetation and higher elevations. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
